For seventeen days, the director Guy Maddin will be inviting Centre Pompidou visitors to witness the making of a new movie inspired by a lost film directed by the great names of cinema: Vigo, Lubitsch, Mizoguchi, von Stroheim, Naruse.
The lost films sadden Guy Maddin as much as they haunt him. He summons the wandering spirit of these ghostly films during phoney “seances”.
Now a great medium, the Canadian filmmaker leads his actors into a paranormal trance to be broadcast live on http://spiritismes.centrepompidou.fr
