Guy Maddin spent his youth with his sister on the mysterious island that he will inherit one day. They share this location with a horde of orphans living as part of the community in an “orphan lighthouse.” This silent narrative is given a stage version with Isabella Rossellini acting as the narrator, accompanied by three foley artists, a soprano and an ensemble of 11 musicians.
