On February 9, escape to the Canadian Cultural Centre for a virtual evening dedicated to Canadian rapper L.Teez!

Join us at 8 p.m. on our Facebook Page to discover the unique universe of this artist at the forefront of Montreal’s new musical avant-garde.

A new face of North American Rap from the 1995 generation, L.Teez has always been immersed in a musical universe. After starting out on trombone and trumpet at school, he naturally turned to rap at the age of 16. With a strong musical culture, he has forged his own identity and created his own artistic universe. He draws his inspiration from hip-hop as well as jazz, creating a clever and prodigious aesthetic mix. In the midst of the emergence of the hip-hop Newschool in 2012, L.Teez launched into writing: his texts are authentic and personal and speak about his vision of the world, his experiences and what surrounds him.

L.Teez organises and participates in featurings in many underground venues (Playground, Club CFC) and performs at the Divan Orange, the MEG Festival, the Paris Music Festival and the MIL Festival in Lisbon. He collaborated with Canadian producers (Hug Signori and Jay Century) and confirmed his success in 2019 by playing on the prestigious stages of the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Festival d’Été de Québec and the Montreal Fashion and Design Festival, while preparing his 2nd EP “The Index to My Inner Thoughts”.
