On Friday, January 13 at 8pm, come and discover the magnetic charisma and electro pop of La Bronze, followed by a concert by Les Hay Babies: an indie-folk trio, composed of three Acadian women with vibrant personalities. Reserve your seats!
Singer-songwriter Nadia Essadiqi, aka La Bronze, thrills audiences with her magnetic charisma and rock-infused electro pop. Her music is a hymn to love and freedom, where sweetness and ardour soar.
A multidisciplinary artist – actress, author, singer and percussionist – La Bronze has made a number of high-profile appearances, notably in France on Canal +’s cult show Le Petit Journal.
Exciting, charismatic and more touching than ever, La Bronze will present her new album Vis-moi, released in March 2022 (Audiogram). Accompanied by her extraordinary musicians, dive into her precious, rare electro-pop universe, at once cathartic, festive and introspective. An experience out of space and time, that everyone deserves to experience!
Les Hay Babies
The Hay Babies are Vivianne, Julie and Katrine, three young, authentic, funny Acadians! Their musical influences clash, blend and above all complement each other. There’s folk, comedy, rock, fashion and even pizza rolls! Their three harmonious voices, infectious rhythm and lyrics will get stuck in your head.
Since their bilingual EP Folio, released in 2012, The Hay Babies have toured extensively, inspiring them to write the songs that we find two years later on Mon Homesick Heart (2014, Simone Records), an indie-folk-country album that comes from the heart! They received multiple awards and nominations before launching their 2nd album La 4e dimension (version longue) with a more rock sound, inspired by the 70s and 80s.
With Boîte aux lettres, their 3rd album, which they will present at the Canadian Cultural Centre, they return to simplicity. On stage, accompanied by talented musicians, they will offer a joyful and sincere show.
