In the presence of Céline Bonnier. After the projection, the audience will get a chance to meet the actress.

Simone Beaulieu (Céline Bonnier), now Mother Augustine, successfully runs a small convent on the banks of the Richelieu. Passionate and resilient, Mother Augustine uses all her energy and talent as a musician to help her students. Her niece Alice (Lysandre Ménard) is put into her care. She is not only a new piano prodigy, but also a young woman whose aspirations are in tune with the era and who reminds Mother Augustine of a past that she thought was definitively buried.

The school is a musical centre of excellence that wins all the big piano prizes. Morning, noon and evening, from the great hall to the main staircase, scales, arpeggios, Chopin waltzes and Bach inventions resound. And, instead of praying, everyone sings!

But when a system of public education is introduced in the mid-1960s, the future of Mother Augustine and her sisters is threatened.
