We invite you to discover a location that is one of the most emblematic of the relationship between Canada and France! For 70 years, the Hôtel de Rigny has been the official home of Canada in France; a piece of Canadian soil in the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, which tells its own story of our two countries’ diplomatic relations and ties of friendship.

“And so we have thrown doors wide open, virtually speaking, offering you a fuller visit than what many guests experience during official receptions or heritage days. This publication is an opportunity to shine the spotlight on the blend of heritage woodwork, maple and poppy that is the elegant backdrop to the friendship between our two countries, a friendship which manifests itself in areas such as diplomacy, policy-making, economics, culture, academic research, etc.”

Isabelle Hudon, Ambassador of Canada to France and Monaco

Discover the history and spaces of the property through an online magazine, a virtual tour and the latest episode of our Canad’AIR Podcast. Welcome to Canada!
