The Jérôme Poggi Gallery will present a major “Canadian Season” bringing together several artists with whom it has long-standing collaborations.
The Gallery space will host projects by Canadian artists, Kapwani Kiwanga, Manuel Mathieu, for his first solo exhibition in France, as well as Larissa Fassler who will take over the graphic art studio with a presentation resulting from her research residency at Concordia University in Montreal.
In line with this program, the gallery will dedicate its booth at Art Basel Paris to a dialogue between recent paintings by Manuel Mathieu and a major sculpture by Kapwani Kiwanga.
From more than fifteen years, the gallery has maintained close ties with the Canadian art scene. It currently represents, Kipwani Kiwanga and Larissa Fassler, and recently announced that it will represent Manuel Mathieu. Beyond these artistic collaborations, the gallery has developed numerous partnerships with Canadian institutions, enabling the presentation of works by several artists in its program, including Sophie Ristelhueber (National Gallery of Canada) and Babi Badalov (MacKenzie Art Gallery).
