ciel de chamaille

A girl, Lirane, lives comfortably with her parents; a boy, Ferhat, lives in a tent in a refugee camp, near Lirane’s home but on the other side of the border, with his mother and younger brothers. She is Israeli, he is Palestinian. These two children from opposite sides of the tracks have one thing in common, the loss of a brother or a sister in an attack. This shared pain will link them forever.

Directed by Laurent Stachnick, the Compagnie du Lophophore presents a reading of the play Sous un ciel de chamaille written by the Quebec dramatist and director Daniel Danis (Éditions de l’Arche). With the actors Josée Schuller, Alexandre Martin-Varroy and Caroline Rochefort.
