Born in the mining town of Elliot Lake in northern Ontario to an Ojibway mother and a French-Canadian father, David Groulx brings his Indigenous roots to life in his work. A decisive encounter with Éric Charlebois took place during the Trois-Rivières Poetry Festival in 2014. After Sans pitié, The Windigo Chronicles is their second collaboration.

Éric Charlebois is a poet and entrepreneur. He has published more than a dozen collections of poetry, has won three literary awards – including two Trillium Poetry Awards – and is recognized as an important figure in the Franco-Ontarian literary community.
