The music of Les Chercheurs d’Or features influences from all over the Americas. The energetic country-folk of its beginnings took on new accents with the thousands of kilometres travelled: bluegrass, rock, jazz, psychedelic, pop. The lyrics are delivered in the frank tone of joual without hang-ups, taking us on a road trip to the heart of everyday life.
During an acoustic session on the Canadian Cultural Centre stage, the five musicians will be previewing tracks from their eponymous new album whose French release date is February 13, 2014.
