From May 11, the Canadian Cultural Centre will be presenting the photographic exhibition “Diana Thorneycroft’s Extraordinary Stories. Caustic Landscapes of Canadian Imaginary”, curator Catherine Bédard, based on the photographic series of The Canadiana Martyrdom Series and Group of Seven Awkward Moments. Canadian photographer Diana Thorneycroft lives and works in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is now recognized as a major figure of contemporary North American photography.
This exhibition will coincide with My Winnipeg, Fondation Antoine de Galbert – Maison Rouge, Paris from June 23 to September 25, 2011.
