Mary’s Wedding takes place in the Canadian West during World War I.
It tells the story of a recent English immigrant to Canada as well as the romance between a young farmer and Mary through dreamlike reminiscences.
Mary’s Wedding pays tribute to the Great War, to the way it shaped the lives of Canadians at the time but also to the lives lost in combat.
