The 15th international Biennale of contemporary art in Lyon illustrates the changing relationships between human beings, other living species, technological artifacts and the stories that bring them together.

As part of this Biennale, Canadian artist Megan Rooney, whose work encompasses painting, performance, sculpture and installations, conjures a series of recurring characters that keep dilating and retracting within transient installations, bringing on a mix of disquiet and tenderness.
