Hailing from Nuuk, Greenland, Nive Nielsen – an Inuk songwriter, musician, singer and actress – has a connection to Canada, where she studied anthropology. She also stands up for the Indigenous traditions of the Far North, from which she draws inspiration for her songs. Nive & The Deer Children invite us to a enjoy an evening of extraordinary Inuit indie and magical polar folk.

Concert presented on the occasion of the exhibition by the Indigenous artist Maria Hupfield, The One Who Keeps On Giving (at the Canadian Cultural Centre) and as part of the Semaine des Cultures Étrangères.
