For its 2024 edition, Les Reflets du cinéma in Mayenne is shining a spotlight on Canada and the vitality of Canadian cinema!
From March 15 to 24, the festival will unveil a rich lineup of 35 films, including both features and shorts, and will focus on major filmmakers such as Denis Côté, Guy Maddin, and David Cronenberg.
The festival is also inviting us to explore Indigenous cinema with a carte blanche given to Wapikoni Mobile, and the vitality of contemporary and heritage documentaries with a second carte blanche given to the National Film Board of Canada. Last but not least, the festival offers an insight into the country’s psyche through a panorama of films tackling contemporary issues.
Quebec writer and director Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette will be the guest of honour of this 2024 edition.
