Six Canadian authors to discover on the stage of the Canadian Cultural Centre

On the fringe of the Paris Book Fair, the Canadian Cultural Centre is partnering with Québec Édition to offer you an immersion into the vitality of Canadian literature, with the participation of 6 Quebec authors published in France by Canadian and French publishing houses for an evening of flash literary encounters :

The program includes two round-table discussions moderated by Marie Jouvin, journalist with Lire Magazine and lecteurs.com, and Tara Lennart, editor-in-chief of BooKalicious.

  • Quest for origins, how to make your life a work of art?

With the participation of :

Author and translator Dominique Fortier, winner of the 2020 Renaudot Prize, for her new essay Quand viendra l’aube, to be published in April 2025 by Grasset.

Writer Mustapha Fahmi for his new book La beauté de Cléopâtre, published in March 2025 by Éditions La Peuplade.

Author, journalist and globetrotter Isabelle Grégoire for her dark novel Vert comme l’enfer, published by Québec Amérique.

  • Quest for meaning: when writing reveals a certain truth

With the participation of :

Painter, photographer, and cabinetmaker Benoît Erwann for his first book On s’arrête là pour aujourd’hui published by PUM (Presses de l’Université de Montréal).

Author and poet Angelina Guo for her first novel Comparution, published by Le Quartanier.

Author, actor, and director Michel-Maxime Legault, with his first novel Michelin, published by Éditions du Quartz.

A book-signing session will be organized following the discussions in collaboration with the Librairie du Québec à Paris. The authors will also be present at the Festival du Livre de Paris at the Québec Édition booth Québec Édition (A1).

In partnership with Québec edition, a committee of the Association nationale des éditeurs de livres (ANEL) dedicated to the international promotion of Quebec and French-Canadian books.
