The Musée de Picardie à Amiens presents the installation Resolute Bay, voyage du jour dans la nuit by Louis Couturier and Jacky Georges Lafargue. This exhibition is organized in partnership with two Canadian museums: the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, Saskatchewan.
Resolute Bay, voyage du jour dans la nuit talks about our contemporary landscape through an artistic meditation that touches on sociology and geopolitics. Three very different museums have joined forces for this exhibition: the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Montréal in Quebec, the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery in Saskatchewan and the Musée de Picardie in Amiens. Three installations, one catalogue, Internet connections linking the museums and a website in order to speak with a single voice about a preoccupation that connect us, the human tenants of a planet that we mistreat.
