Rumble : The Indians Who Rocked the World

The RUMBLE documentary film explores a profound, essential and little known chapter of the history of American music: its indigenous influence.

Through portraits of music icons such as Charley Patton, Mildred Bailey, Link Wray, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Jimi Hendrix, Jesse Ed Davis, Robbie Robertson, Redbone, Randy Castillo and Taboo, RUMBLE shows the extent to which these talented indigenous musicians contributed to creating the soundtracks of our lives.

The screening will be followed by a meeting/debate.

An event of the 4th Paris New York Heritage Festival.

Director: Catherine Bainbridge, co-directed by Alfonso Maiorana
