The Great Novel has been riding on the arid plains for many moons. Bourbon on their breath, they follow a sonic trail that splits the spaghetti western and the white noise of the city they call home. With groaning strings and stretching skins they weave a story to inhabit, reinventing themselves in the spirit of the band.
In their four years together, they have released two albums co-produced by Dany Placard, toured Canada twice and one of their songs was chosen for the Radio Canada series Sur Les Traces de Kerouac. The group is releasing a new album, Skins, with only one mantra: “You’ve got to shed your skin on the road of existence.”
