Thomas Hellman was born in Montreal to an American father and a French mother. For one evening, the brilliant musician and folk singer will recount American history, from the conquest of the West to the Great Depression, through songs from the blues, folk and gospel repertoire of the period, of which he has made bilingual adaptations. An Académie Charles-Cros favourite in 2007 and 2013.
