The Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), formerly known as the Centre national de la cinématographie until July 20092 , is a French administrative public establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy, which was created by the law of 25 October 1946. It is placed under the authority of the Ministry of Culture.
Dominique Boutonnat has been its president since 24 July 2019.
