Ars-Nova – concert-lab
Eclosions
Centre culturel canadien
March 22nd, 2019
20:00 - 22:00
This multidisciplinary event is part of an exceptional partnership between the Canadian Cultural Centre and Ars Nova, the extraordinary French musical ensemble led by Canadian conductor Jean-Michaël Lavoie.
Ars Nova invites us to a multisensorial concert and opens the doors to their two current “laboratories”: Rêves d’Occident: a concert for two percussionists (Lucie Delmas and Mathilde Dambricourt) and a singer (Géraldine Keller) with music by Jonathan Pontier; Porosité: with music by Myriam Boucher and lyrics by Philippe Drouin, directed by Alexandra Lacroix. This evening will also be an opportunity to discover the work of Canadian VJ artist Myriam Boucher, who performs around the world at the most prestigious international electronic arts events.
This concert-lab is part of the Futurs Composés festival, Bien Entendu ! Presented by the Canadian Cultural Centre and Ars Nova, it is produced in partnership with Le NEST-CDN Transfrontalier de Thionville, La Muse en circuit, Futurs Composés and the Centre de Documentation de la Musique Contemporaine.
