From December 10, 2021 to April 15, 2022, the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris presents “Decision Making: The Decisive Instant” as part of the official programme of Némo – International Biennial of Digital Arts of the Île-de-France Region produced by CENTQUATRE-PARIS, in partnership with Elektra (Montreal)
Join us on December 9 from 12pm to 10.30pm (last entry at 10pm) at the Canadian Cultural Centre for the opening of our new exhibition! Lineup:
- Between noon and 7pm, come and visit the exhibition “Decision Making” at the CCC – Booking required.
- At 7pm or 9pm, attend the European premiere of INCERTITUDE: a performance by artist Matthew Biederman and curator and art director, Alain Thibault at the CCC – FULLY BOOKED
Decisions are the result of complex cognitive processes. Considering them collectively, as they involve our shared futures, makes them nothing less then crucial. But, more and more often, we include machines into such processes through algorithms qualified as decisional. Of course, it raises questions that artists know how to put into perspective.
