The Festival Ciné Alter’Natif pays tribute to First National cinema in all its diversity. For this 8th edition, Canada is the guest of honour with a special “Inuit” evening and the project-debate of the film Angry Inuk, directed by Alethea Arnaquq-Baril.
Angry Inuk sets out with finesse, humour and depth the issues surrounding the Inuit fight to defend the seal hunt which, more than a tradition, is also an essential element of their fragile economy.
An event organized by the association De la Plume à l’Écran as part of the Festival Ciné Alter’Natif and with the association Inuksuk. With the support of the National Film Board of Canada.
