La Semaine Acadienne, L’Acadie de A à Z

From August 8–15, 2013, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer will host the eighth edition of La Semaine Acadienne for the leading festival of the Calvados region. This event will pay homage to the Acadian soldiers of the North Shore Regiment of New Brunswick, who came to liberate this Normandy beach on June 6, 1944.
For a week, Acadia from A to Z will be honoured through concerts, exhibitions, dances and many other events. Several artists will be present, such as Acadian singer Angèle Arsenault, New Brunswick group Cabestran and Acadian dance company La Baie en Joie.
