How to promote Francophonie in France during Francophonie Month in March? Every year, the Pays Solesmois organizes the “Printemps Francophone” Festival, inviting the public to discover the diversity of Francophonie around the world! 

For its 14th edition, from March 12 to 25, the Printemps Francophone puts Canada in the spotlight with a particularly rich cultural lineup!

Coming soon: readings of traditional Acadian tales, a French dictation for children and adults, an evening to discover the cultural and culinary traditions of Acadia and New Brunswick… but also two evenings dedicated to the talented Acadian guitarist and composer: Shaun Ferguson

  • Masterclass with Shaun Ferguson – March 23 at 6pm at the Conservatoire intercommunal du Pays Solesmois 
  • Concert by Shaun Ferguson in duo with cellist Hannah Al-Kharusy – March 25 at 8pm at the Salle des Fêtes in Saint Python.

A virtuoso guitar player, accomplished composer and talented performer, Shaun Ferguson makes modern, free and transcendent instrumental music. , he captivates his audience with his charismatic personality, his flights of musical inspiration and his warm voice that invites you to travel. Since 2016, Shaun Ferguson, an Acadian from New Brunswick, has been participating in “Enfrancophones”: a federative project built between Canada and France, to make French audiences discover the history of Acadia. As part of the Printemps Francophone Festival, he will play on stage with American cellist Hannah Al-Kharusy.
