Rêveuses de villes
Centre culturel canadien
March 09th, 2020
20:00 - 21:30
The documentary Rêveuses de ville showcases four exceptional architects, exemplary women, pioneers who – for decades – have worked, observed and shaped the cities of today and tomorrow.
While architecture and urban planning enthusiasts already know Phyllis Lambert, Blanche Lemco van Ginkel, Denise Scott Brown and Cornelia Hahn Oberlander, these inspiring women remain largely unknown to the general public. Yet, they have left their mark on generations of professionals.
Through unpublished interviews, archival documents and fine cinematography, filmmaker Joseph Hillel reveals how these avant-garde architects have shaped the cities we live in.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the Director.
