Joseph Edgar et Lisa LeBlanc
Joseph Edgar et Lisa LeBlanc

The two musicians, Lisa Leblanc and Joseph Edgar, spearheads of the Acadian folk rock scene, will both be playing a one-off concert. They will be blending their talent and their styles, performing together and alone.

In partnership with L’Estival music festival of Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Joseph Edgar, a new-school folk rock musician who released his third album in 2009, is at the forefront of the contemporary Acadian music scene. His influences are diverse enough for him to produce a unique blend of music. He is an immensely talented songwriter and has a constant thirst for artistic exploration. Originally from Moncton, Joseph Edgar has been living in Nova Scotia for a few years now.

Lisa LeBlanc : From Rosaireville, New Brunswick, the young Acadian Lisa LeBlanc likes to say she does not write girly songs. Instead, she describes herself as an Acadian who rolls her Rs, writes lyrics without too many frills and likes to poke fun at herself. She makes “trashy” folk music with caustically humorous and emotional lyrics. She has just been honoured as the cultural figure of the year in New Brunswick.
