When the Snow Melts Where Will the White Man Go? is an adaptation of the traditional Inuit tale The Skeleton Woman. This performance is a journey, an encounter with a distant world, that of the Inuit people the sound of whose language and husky style of singing are powerful vectors for poetry. The music underpins the text, entering into dialogue with it.
A performance by the Compagnie En Chemins recommended by the Espace Culturel Inuit. Directed by Margot Dutilleul and assisted by Laurence Forbin. Set design and costumes: Laurence Forbin. Lighting: Thomas Chrétien. Movement coaching: Barbara Falc.
