Master Class du réalisateur Guy Maddin

The Maison Rouge, ED Distribution and the Canadian Cultural Centre invite you to an exceptional master class by the Canadian director Guy Maddin at the Espace Saint Michel on Monday June 20, starting at 7pm.
The master class will be hosted by Thierry Méranger, a member of the editorial board of Les Cahiers du Cinéma and director of the Regards d’Ailleurs festival in Dreux.

The group exhibition MY WINNIPEG at the Maison Rouge, HAUNTINGS (2010) features an installation by Guy Maddin presenting eleven short films in black and white, produced by the Toronto International Film Festival. Maddin continues to revisit the history of cinema by recreating eleven mythical lost films, including those by von Sternberg, Murnau and Lang. A medium, according to him, haunted and filled with projections, where places and events have no tangible reality.
